In her interviews, the actress is openly talking about both her relationship with her late friend and rapper Tupac Shakur as well as her husband Will Smith. Jada Pinkett Smith says Tupac proposed to her while in jail
In a recent interview with RollingOut, Jada referred to the late rapper Tupac Shakur as her “soulmate.” However, she also noted how the two could not be in a romantic relationship as they did not have any chemistry. “It’s that friendship love chemistry,” she said.
In her appearance on the All The Smoke podcast, the mom of two further said that Tupac had proposed to her while he was in jail.
“Seeing him there, the condition that he was in, and having to leave him there, he was in bad shape,” she said while fighting back tears.
She also shared how Tupac asked her to marry him because “he needed somebody to do time with him.” She then jokes how he would have divorced her right when he came out of jail.
