⛸️ 7 Nearby Places for Ice Skating Fun

Whether you're looking for a fun family outing or a romantic date night, ice skating is a great winter activity and a memorable holiday tradition. And for those of us who aren't coordinated enough to ice skate (I'm raising my hand right now) you can always cheer from the sidelines.

Following is a list of ice rinks, both indoor and outdoor, that we've found in the Lincoln area and within one hour of us. Always check the rink schedule-outdoor rinks have short seasons and many rinks will book out for private parties.

1) John Breslow Ice Hockey Center (indoor skating)

Admission: $7 admission and $3 skate rental

2) Railyard Ice Rink (outdoor skating)
350 Canopy St
The rink will be open through February on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. (11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday when school is out of session) and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. 
Admission: Pricing is $15 for adults and $10 for children with rental skates included and $13 for adults and $8 for children with no rental skates.

3) Eugene T Mahoney State Park (outdoor skating)
