Abby Hand Car Accident; A 20-year-old young girl has died after she was involved in a deadly car accident that happened on Highway 82. The victim has been identified as Abby Hand of Tifton, Georgia. According to reports, Abby Hand, an Abraham Baldwin College (ABAC) student passed away on November 25, 2023, in Macon from injuries sustained in an automobile crash.

A few weeks shy of her 21st birthday, ABAC student Abby Hand accidentally collided with a cotton picker on Highway 82. With extriaordinary prayers going up on Abby’s behalf from friends and strangers in seemingly every region of Georgia and beyond, the natural-born fighter lamentably succumbed to her injuries last night in Macon. The granddaughter of Larry and Kathy Crumley of Enigma, Bill and Joan (Moore) Drawdy of Alapaha, eldest daughter of Brook Crumley and Lawren Hand, and big sister to Laura, let’s set aside time today to lift up Abby’s entire family in our prayers. Abby was following in her mom’s footsteps, pursuing a teaching degree.

How did Abby Hand die?

Abby Hand, an ABAC student, was unintentionally involved in a collision with a cotton picker on Highway 82, just weeks before turning 21. Abby Hand, a warrior by nature, was declared dead in Macon Friday night from her wounds.

Abby developed into a valued member of Sigma Alpha sorority while attending ABAC, and she enjoyed the company of her sorority sisters. She had a great love for animals and dogs and enjoyed gardening, crafts, doing projects, going to antique stores, and going to Fernandina Beach, Florida, on a regular basis. Her greatest passion was for God and her family, and she frequently attended worship services at Tifton’s First Baptist Church.
