Authorities in Georgia say that a fight over cold fries led to the arrest of a man who was wanted for killing a woman.

Matt Johnson of Channel 2 is said to have gotten a copy of the one-hour body cam recording of the officers holding Antoine Sims on August 5.

Bodycam footage shows Antoine telling an officer that he and his fiance were waiting for their meal and a receipt when the order was placed, but they didn’t know their order number because they didn’t have the receipt.

Yes, Antoine Sims was arrested again. He is the person suspected of killing Adelis Muratovic in 2018. When he got into a fight at McDonald’s over fries, he was caught and put in jail.

Officials say that Muratovic was killed in 2018 while he was sitting in the back seat of Smith’s car.

Adelisa Muratovic, who was 21 at the time, went to the Retreat at Johns Creek apartments on October 29, 2018, with her boyfriends Michael Smith and DeShaun Flournoy, according to Johns Creek police. Gunfire may have started when the group went to Sims to buy marijuana.

Police say that Antoine drove the car to a neighborhood in Lawrenceville and set it on fire while the woman’s body was still inside. The next morning at around 3:30, it was found on fire.

Sims, Smith, and Flournoy were all charged with felony murder. A month later, Smith and Flournoy turned themselves in, but Antoine was arrested in Wisconsin in 2019.

Police said that he ran away from the fight on Friday and headed toward The Ellison apartments on North Roberts Road.

Documents from the Fulton County court show that he had been locked up since 2019 before a $275,000 bond was set for him in February. He had an arrest warrant because he didn’t go to court after getting out of jail.

Sims was charged with hindering or obstructing law enforcement, criminal trespass, and having a warrant out for his arrest.

The Georgia police picked up Antoine Sims on August 5. A murder suspect was caught because of a fight over cold McDonald’s fries.

WSTV says that both Sims and the manager said they called 911 when they started fighting and yelling at each other.

Officers then talked to the owner of the restaurant. He said Sims threw a drink at him and told him to “make my (expletive) food.”

At the restaurant owner’s request, Sims was asked to leave and then given a criminal trespass citation.

According to the incident report, when Sam’s name was looked up in a police database, they found that he was out on bond but had an active warrant for his arrest.

The police then asked Sims to sign a notice that he had broken the law. Even though the officer told him it wasn’t scary, the man from Georgia didn’t want to fill out the paperwork.

Booking records show that as of Friday, August 12, he was still being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without a bond.
