Who are Arshdeep Bains’s Parents? 

Arshdeep Bains is the Vancouver Canucks left-winger. He made his NHL debut in Denver at a game Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche for the Vancouver Canucks.

He was called up to the NHL club last week from Vancouver’s American Hockey League but didn’t play at Saturday’s home game. He has become one of only 4 Punjabi players to play in the NHL.

Arshdeep’s father Kuldip Bains was waiting to board a bus to Denver’s Ball Area and when it reached, he said on Tuesday evening,

“For my whole life, I’ve tried to put my foot in the door at every level I’ve been to and it’s no different here. It’s been a heck of a journey.”

Nilesh Patel helped create a documentary about young South Asian NHL hopefuls. He told the guest host of CBC’s on The Coast, Amy Bell about Arshdeep,

“This isn’t an overnight story. Hey, we’ve known this. This guy should be in the NHL. The community’s now seeing what they felt and that’s huge, right?

“When you feel underrepresented … you want to see those opportunities — when somebody should be there — happen.”

The Analyst for Hockey Night in Canada Punjabi, Gurpreet Sian said about Arshdeep’s debut,

“It’s been nine years since Jujhar Khaira made his NHL debut. It’s a huge accomplishment for the community.”

Arshdeep Bains is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who plays for the Vancouver Cancuks of the NHL. He shoots left. He signed an entry-level contract on 11 March 2022 with the Vancouver Canucks and participated.

After he was reassigned to the Abbotsford Canucks, for the 2022–23 season. In his first career AHL game in Abbotsford’s season opener, he scored his first goal against the Ontario Reign and tallied 13 points in his first 24 games by 3 January 2023.
