CEO of the UFC Dana White announced his friend Artie Garelli’s unexpected passing on Twitter. “RIP my brother,” he wrote and shared an image of his friend. While most family members are enjoying the arrival of 2024, White and his family are mourning the loss of Garelli. White enjoyed a very successful 2023 on a professional front. However, the beginning of 2024 hasn’t been nice for him”.

About Garelli or the reason for his demise, not much is known. Still, White has experienced other losses besides losing a friend. He also mentioned his parents’ deaths in a September 2023 interview with Piers Morgan. He said, “I didn’t wish any ill will on either one of my parents, but no, when they passed away I had almost no feelings about it, to be honest with you”.

Before he died, White’s father, who was a resident of Maine, raised him with his family. However, the CEO of the UFC had a tumultuous connection with his mother. Additionally, he previously claimed that he was unrelated to her before to her passing.

She actually referred to her son as “egotistical, self-centered, arrogant, and cruel” in an unofficial 2011 biography of Dana White.
