ASOS teams up with Disney to launch Lion King range of clothes just in time for the movie

THE NEW Lion King film hits cinemas on 19 July and to celebrate, ASOS have teamed up with Disney to launch a range inspired by the hit animation.

The collection is available now, plenty of time to get kitted out before the release of the live-action remake of the film starring Beyonce and Donald Glover.

From brightly-coloured shorts, shirts and co-ords, the collection features a number of the animated classic's iconic characters and scenes.

Available for both men and women it also has a few unisex products and some styles will also be available under the online retailer's Curve and Plus ranges, too.

Naturally, Timon in a grass hula skirt is featured through the collection and ol’ Rafiki holding baby Simba up on Pride Rock.

In amongst the colourful range is an incredible print track jacket, which features Simba singing “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King”, and has Timon and Pumbaa dotted in the jungle leaves.

Also going in the shopping basket are some cute tropical-print co-ords, simple pastel t-shirts, and a bright yellow denim jacket with Simba, Timon, Pumbaa and Zazu on the back.

However our favourite item of the collection is probably pale yellow/green unisex oversized t-shirt featuring Shenzi, Banzai and Ed the hyenas.

With prices starting from £8 it’s easy to get a slice of this beloved Disney action.
