Countryfile fans baffled by weather presenter's glam makeover - swiping 'she looks like Barbie!'

COUNTRYFILE fans compared a weather presenter to Barbie after she showed off a glam look.

Every episode of Countryfile features a segment looking at the weather for the week ahead.

On Sunday's show, Louise Lear was in charge of updating viewers on what to expect over the next seven days.

While some of the weather presenters wear a more relaxed, country-inspired outfit for the Countryfile report such as a checked shirt or jeans, Louise brought the glam.

She opted for a bright pink round neck T-shirt which she teamed with a black skirt that featured a pink and cream pattern down each side.

She had her blonde hair pulled back off her face and curled at the back and she wore a pair of gold drop earrings.

It prompted a number of comments from viewers on X - formerly Twitter - with one writing: "Louise Looks more like Barbie Girl than a #countryfile girl."

Another added: "Lear Jet’s been to see #Barbie and has been INSPIRED! #countryfile."

A third tweeted: "FFS Louise, gone full on Barbie."

Meanwhile a fourth commented alongside a gif of Barbie: "Louise going #barbie."

Louise isn't the only weather presenter to fall foul of not adhering to the Countryfile 'dress code' expected by fans.

Earlier this month, Tomasz Schafernaker was called out for wearing a suit with a black T-shirt underneath.

Commenting online, one fan penned: "He didn't get the check shirt memo."

Another added: "Go home Tomasz no check #countryfile."

A third viewer said: "Schafernaker hasn’t understood the assignment."
