David Butz was an American professional football player. He played in the National Football League for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Washington Redskins as a defensive tackle. 

He played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers Football team. He was two times Super Bowl Champion. He played Pro Bowl games in 1983.
