Davenport Mayor Mike Matson announces running for third term

Davenport Mayor Mike Matson announced he will seek a third term in office, stating improving the city’s infrastructure and investing in public safety are his priorities.
Iowa State Representative Ken Croken also launched his campaign for the position. Croken is a former Scott County Supervisor and currently represents Iowa House District 97. Also running for the office is 19-year old community organizer Jasmine Schneider.
The election will be November 7.
