Demonte McKoy Death; Identified As Fayetteville Victim of Fatal Shooting

Later on Wednesday afternoon, the identify of a guy who was shot and murdered late on Tuesday night in a neighborhood located off of Rim Road was made public.
The Fayetteville Police Department reports that that at approximately 11:50 p.m., officers discovered Demonte McKoy, who was forty years old, suffering from a gunshot wound outside of his residence located in the 800 block of Broadmore Drive. At the scene, he was cited as having passed away.
On the evening of Tuesday, November 21, 2023, a stretch of Broadmore Drive is blocked off by crime scene tape and police cars. This is close to the location where a man was shot and died.
