Does Ghosted have a post-credit scene?

Ghosted is the newest action-packed rom-com from Apple TV+ but does the movie feature any extra teases or a post-credit scene?

Hollywood superstars Chris Evans and Ana de Armas have joined forces once again after their Knives Out and The Gray Man team-ups for Ghosted, the latest film from Apple TV+ that sees humble farmer Cole get dragged into the cut-throat world of espionage by the mysterious Sadie.

By the ending of their globe-trotting adventure, Ghosted seems to have mostly tied up Cole and Sadie’s story, but as most films in the modern movie industry are seemingly attempting to kickstart their own franchise, fans have been left asking if Ghosted features a post-credit scene to tease a potential sequel.

The film tells the story of salt-of-the-earth Cole (Evans), a humble farmer, and the enigmatic Sadie (de Armas), who kickstart their adventure with the best first date imaginable.

However, when Cole, who has fallen completely head over heels, tries to arrange a second date, he’s met with silence as Sadie has vanished into thin air and is ghosting him.

After tracking Sadie to London, Cole takes it upon himself to find her but in the process, he discovers that she’s actually an international super spy and the pair are swept away on a mission to save the world.

Does Ghosted have a post-credits scene?

No, Ghosted does not have a scene during or after the credits.

While Ghosted may include cameos from Marvel film stars Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and Ryan Reynolds, the film does not follow the MCU’s example.

This means fans of the film don’t have to sit through 10 minutes of credits for any extra teasers or gags.

Although, there’s no harm in sitting through the credits to pay respect to the countless number of people it takes to bring a film project of this size to life.

Ending potentially sets up sequel

After Ghosted’s main plot comes to an end and Cole and Sadie have recovered the deadly Aztec bio-weapon, the film’s final scene cuts to three months later.

The pair are still dating and are about to enjoy an evening together at the theater.

However, as Cole checks the trunk of the luxurious Aston Martin that Sadie has arrived in, he finds a man tied up and gagged, who Sadie explains is an arms dealer.

Of course, it’s possible that this is simply a throwaway gag about how casual Sadie is about her work but then again, it could be teasing the future dynamic between the pair heading into a potential sequel.

While Cole began Ghosted as a farmer, he settles into the life of a spy relatively well, making it likely that he and Sadie could team up again if she ever finds herself in trouble and needing backup.

That all depends on how Ghosted is received, however. The film has received largely negative reviews from critics which means that chances of a Ghosted 2 lie with the movie’s viewing figures.
