Danny Bonaduce has received a conditional release from the producers of Celebrity Championship Wrestling to wrestle at the TNA Lockdown pay-per-view. "We did give him a conditional release with some stipulations," Eric Bischoff told Prowrestling.net on Wednesday evening.
Bischoff added that the terms include prohibiting TNA from mentioning the names Hulk Hogan and Celebrity Championship Wrestling. Likewise, TNA is not allowed to use CCW footage. Bischoff noted that he and partner Jason Hervey gave Bonaduce a release to work the show out of friendship. "We wouldn't do this for anyone else," Bischoff concluded.
Powell's POV: Bischoff praised Bonaduce for the hard work he put in to promote the CCW show, and made it clear that they remain on good terms. Bonaduce is now clear to wrestle at Lockdown as advertised, and it will be interesting to see who he faces on the April 19 show in Philadelphia, Pa.
