Dr. Dwight Sublett Obituary Oklahoma: In loving memory of prominent OK pediatrician Dr. Dwight Sublett.

Stillwater Pediatrics on Wednesday announced the sudden death of Dr. Dwight Sublett, via a social media post.

“It is with great sadness that we share that Dr Dwight Sublett has passed away,” the post read. “Dr. Sublett was an amazing Pediatrician that spent the majority of his life taking care of others. We ask that any and all photos you have with Dr. Sublett through out the years you send to us so we can help his family to see all of the lives he has touched over the years.”

Dr. Sublett died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from a massive heart attack secondary to possible aneurysm.

Dr. Sublett was a vital part of Stillwater Pediatrics for many years. He is a pediatrician in Blanchard, Oklahoma and is affiliated with Stillwater Medical Center. He received his medical degree from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

“We are saddened by the passing of Dwight Sublett, MD, who served as chair of OSMA’s Legislative Council and secretary of OMPAC. He was also former president of OKAAP and a strong advocate for the health of Oklahoma’s children. Our thoughts go out to his family and colleagues. He will be greatly missed,” Oklahoma State Medical Association wrote.
