Early voting underway for Illinois primary

Early voting is underway for the Illinois primary.

Registered voters can cast ballots at early voting sites. Illinois runs a closed primary, and voters get ballots for the party they declare. The 2024 General Primary Election is March 19. Voters who requested a vote-by-mail ballot should soon receive them. Voters who enrolled in the permanent vote-by-mail list will receive ballots automatically.
