Esaret Recap

After learning about his past and his mother Afife’s awful activities, as revealed in earlier episodes of Esaret, Orhun taunts her and tells her to move to the farmhouse and not get in touch with the family in any way. On the other hand, Afife is horrified and wounded by Orhun’s words, which also wounds her ego.

Orhun is then shown grieving by himself since he is unable to digest whatever he has learned. Hira makes an effort to comfort him and stands by him. The following day, as the decision to send Afife to the farmhouse is made, she appoints Hira as the lady of the house. All of the family members, especially Orhun, are taken aback by this choice.

The decision taken by Afife does not sit well with Hira. In the meantime, Afife feels defeated by a slave. Eda and her mother, who is also there when the revelation is made, are furious because they believe Hira is gaining a firmer grip on the house.

Hira later visits Orhun and informs him that she cannot serve as the lady of the residence since she still believes she is a murderer. Hira starts feeling dizzy while speaking to him and subsequently collapses. As he holds her, Orhun becomes concerned. He puts Hira to bed and asks the doctor to visit his house for Hira’s checkup. After checking her thoroughly, the doctor explains that due to immense stress, Hira has lost consciousness.

Next, we see Orhun beginning to look after Hira till she recovers. When Hira regains consciousness the following day, she is shocked to see Orhun caring for her. Orhun feels happy to see her and requests that she take it easy. He shows his care by feeding her food on the bed and handing her softly.

Later, when Hira’s health becomes a little better, Orhun gathers all his courage and reveals Hira’s aunt’s true identity to Hira, which comes as a blow to her. She cannot believe what she is hearing. Orhun also tries to make her understand that she is not the murderer and the fact that she should stop blaming and stressing herself. Further, Orhun calls Hira’s aunt to his house to make Hira believe his words. On her arrival, a huge confrontation takes place, which shatters Hira.
