Fatal crash in Henry County

One person is dead after a van collided with a semi in Henry County Monday afternoon.
It happened around 2:00 p.m.
Investigators say the van’s driver was killed in the accident when the van left interstate 74 and turned onto Illinois Route 81, turning into the semi’s path.
The driver was thrown from the van after impact.
