Here's Why Logan Called Rory Ace

When Logan and Rory start dating, he definitely doesn't seem like the ideal boyfriend. He's afraid to commit, he's definitely kind of a playboy, and he doesn't always carefully consider Rory's feelings. Once he commits himself to her, though, he gives it his all, and most importantly, he's honest about who he is. He's not always going to be perfect, but he never pretends otherwise, and in that way, Logan and Rory's relationship is the most mature one she's a part of during the original series.
Sure, he's not great in the Netflix revival "A Year in the Life" — where he's carrying on an affair with Rory despite being engaged — but Logan is, overall, a sweet and caring boyfriend to Rory. He's supportive of her goals, genuinely respects her intelligence and work ethic, and for God's sake, he buys her a Birkin bag. Logan even proposes to Rory at the end of the original series, and she's the one to turn him down, proving that he was definitely serious about her. Logan is a solid boyfriend who really loves Rory, and his nickname for her is a big part of that.
"Gilmore Girls" is streaming on Netflix now.
