The latest series to hit Netflix has brought with it an array of fresh talent. Lockwood And Co is an adventure drama show that follows a young group of ghost hunters. Of all the fantastic cast members, audiences are curious to know more about Cameron Chapman, from his age to his previous roles.
The British detective thriller is based on author Jonathon Stroud’s book series of the same name. Although there are five books, the series only covers the first two novels.
Written and directed by Joe Cornish, known for his smash hit film Attack The Block, the series is set in London and follows the teen start-up company Lockwood And Co. The ghost-hunting company is operated by Lucy, a psychically gifted girl, and her new pals Anthony Lockwood and George Karim.
In a supernatural world dominated by adult-ran corporations and corrupt agencies, the teens attempt to discover the truth about ‘The Problem’ – a paranormal event that unleashed deadly ghosts across the country.

As his last name suggests, Anthony Lockwood is the founder and leader of Lockwood And Co. Although his age is never explicitly stated in the book series, in a Q&A with Goodreads, the author suggested that Anthony is 15 years old.
Normally just referred to by his last name, Anthony is a charismatic, powerful young boy. He possesses the power of ‘Sight’ which allows him to witness energies and ghosts around him. An essential part of ghost-hunting.
The character is also an avid and skilled fencer, passionate about his mortal endeavors just as much as his ghostly purpose.
Meet actor Cameron Chapman
Surprisingly, Lockwood And Co is Cameron Chapman’s debut role. Prior to landing one of the leading roles in the Netflix series, Cameron hasn’t acted in anything else.
This is even more impressive considering the performance he gives as Anthony. Born in December 2002, the British actor is 20 years old. This makes him a few years older than his ghost-hunting counterpart.
Chapman did study at the Royal Welsh College Of Music And Drama, graduating a couple of years ago in 2021. This explains the actor’s lack of roles.
In an interview with BT TV, the three lead stars discussed their experience on working on the series.
“All the characters, they love each other. They’re so close and they understand each other’s humor.”
Chapman states how the use of humor in the show is the key to the trio’s journey and dynamic.
No doubt, after such a successful first performance, Cameron Chapman will be on viewers’ screens for many years to come.
