How Powerful Is Home One & Who Was Its Famous Commander?

In charge of Home One at the time of its debut is Admiral Ackbar (voiced by Erik Bauersfeld), the squid-like Mon Calamari famous for shouting the line, "It's a trap!" during the Battle of Endor.

In "Star Wars: Episode VI" the Rebel Alliance joins the Battle of Endor to stop the Empire from constructing its second Death Star. Prior to its start, Ackbar and Mon Mothma (Caroline Blakiston) brief the Alliance's leaders in the very same room where Ahsoka meets up with Hera in "Ahsoka" Episode 1. Then, once the fighting officially kicks off, Home One is at the forefront of the Rebels' space battle happening concurrently with the ground assault involving Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher), and plenty of Ewoks.

Ackbar is likewise on Home One when he says his famous line in response to an enemy ambush that tips him off to the fact the Empire is somehow in on their plans. Whether or not Ackbar is still on Home One during "Ahsoka" is unclear, but one Mon Calamari does, at least, appear to be in the ship's employ, suggesting that Ackbar may still be at its helm years after the Empire's destruction.
