As the name suggests, Farosh’s Scale drops from Dragon Farosh, the Electricity Dragon flying around Lake Hylia, Lake Floria, Gerudo Canyon. The dragon’s route always leaves from the east side of the Chasm in Gerudo Valley. Farosh is a little challenging to find compared to other enemies because it doesn’t really pass by any major settlements. There doesn’t appear to be anywhere particular time of day it emerges.

Once you’ve located Farosh, grab your glider immediately and fly toward it — obviously, climb somewhere high like a Sky Tower. Once you get on top of it, the rest is all a piece of cake. Focus your attack somewhere other than its horns, teeth, or claws. If you want a suggestion, you can stab a knife like Gerudo Scimitar into its main body. Doing so will get you Farosh’s Scale.

”This precious scale is constantly charged with powerful electricity. Attach it to a weapon to greatly increase its attack power. Cooking it is possible but probably wasteful.”
