What is Wrapped for Instagram?
Wrapped for Instagram, also known as IGWrapped, isn’t associated with the platform but uses your account to create a reel containing cool statistics.
It tells you loads of information about your profile including how many hours you’ve spent on Instagram in 2023, your top friends and how many users blocked you.
All of this data is compiled into a set of six colorful cards which can be saved to your camera roll and shared on social media.
‘Wrapped’ features have been popular since 2015, when Spotify started the trend with a tool that lets you look back at your listening habits.
Since then, other apps have jumped on the end of year bandwagon including Apple Music, TikTok and Snapchat.
How to see your Instagram Wrapped 2023
Follow these steps.
- Downloaded the IGWrapped app here
- Open the app and connect your Instagram account
- It will then say ‘Generating your Wrapped’
- Wait a little while and your Instagram Wrapped will appear
- Tap the screen to scroll through your highlight reel
- Tap ‘Share’ to post it to social media
Right now, the Instagram Wrapped app is only available on iOS.
What does IGWrapped tell you?
The tool tells you six different things about your Instagram profile in 2023.
- How many hours you’ve spent on Instagram in 2023
- Your 2023 top friends
- How many users blocked you in 2023
- How many followers you’ve got and the male/female ratio
- How many users took screenshots of your posts
- Who viewed your profile the most
