According to Jake Nodar’s IMDb, he has been enamored with horses since he was a young boy.
He was raised on a farm by his family and purchased his first horse when he became 18 years old. This survivor is currently in his mid-thirties, and with each year that passes and his experience grows, his survival skills continue to improve.
When he volunteered at Days End Farm Horse Rescue, where he examined approximately 45–60 abused and neglected horses, his love for horses increased exponentially. He consequently made the decision to care for horses his entire life.
The Naked and Afraid warrior has trained hundreds of horses throughout the years, along with Olympic riders, and has participated in a number of contests.
To everyone’s surprise, he accidentally sent an email to the Discovery Channel program “Out Of The Wild: The Alaska Experiment,” which launched his television career.
He mistook it for an adventurous trip to Alaska on a hiking forum, but when the show’s producers decided to cast him in the 2009 episode, his life was permanently altered.
In the future, Jake plans to create his own TV program, and he is already taking steps to make that ambition a reality.
