Melissa Mccarthy is a married man. She has been married to her longtime boyfriend Ben Falcone who is an actor and member of The Groundlings. They got married on 8 October 2005.

They first met as teenagers before later reconnection in a comedy class. They are considered one of Hollywood’s funniest couples. When they were in the 90s during their school days, they first crossed paths.

They didn’t meet properly until 1998 when they were in the same comedy class in Los Angeles. Since then, they have been sharing scenes on big and small screens.

Melissa told People about her husband,

“He’s nothing but supportive, and he’s super smart. He makes me gut-laugh, like crazy gut-laugh, four or five times a day. I hit the jackpot!”

Who is Ben Falcone?

Ben Falcone is an American actor, filmmaker, and comedian. He made his directional debut in 2014 with Tammy. She starred in the Netflix series God’s Favorite Idiot in 2022.

Ben was born on 25 August 1973 in Carbondale, Illinois, United States to Peg and Steve Falcone. He is of mixed ethnicity because he is of Italian, English, German, and Irish descent.

Meet Their Children

Melissa and Ben became parents of their first child on 5 May 2007. Their first child, a daughter’s name is Vivian. Melissa and Ben welcomed their second child, daughter, Georgette on 22 March 2010.

Melissa told People,

“I have a baby-baby at home and a 3-year-old [Vivian]. I’m not like the woman that’s like, ‘Isn’t this miraculous? Isn’t this amazing? I’m super round and super tired. My husband says it’s like he’s married to a 90-year-old because I just go out mid-sentence.”

Melissa McCarthy says film boss made her ‘physically ill’

Melissa McCarthy talked about a film set that left her physically ill because of hostile work conditions. In a recent interview, She dint not name the film set which set was volatile.

She told the Observer,

“I did work for someone once who ran such a volatile, hostile set that it made me physically ill. My eyes were swelling up, I was absorbing all of this nuttiness.”

She added,

“There were people weeping, visibly so upset by this one person. And I think that’s why the manipulation worked, because to get to me, this person would fire people I loved, which kept me quiet. It was very effective.”

She said,

“Then one day, I was like, ‘It stops today!’ I just kept saying to them, ‘It stops, it stops.’ And I know now I’ll never keep quiet again.”

That experience forced her to open her own company “On The Day Productions” that she shared with her husband.

Melissa said,

“You know, we were so astounded and grateful at getting to build our own little worlds. We were like, ‘We have to build the one we’ve always talked about, where everybody gets to have an opinion and everyone is really nice. It’s going to run a lot better with no screamers or crazy egos bumbling around. Why would we risk destroying that?”
