For her fight, she won the Nobel Peace Prize on 6 Septemebr 2023.

Narges Mohammadi is married to fellow pro-reform journalist Taghi Rahmani. They got married in 1999. Her husband Taghi was arrested for the first time and he moved to France in 2012 after completing his 14 years of prison sentence. Narges remained to continue her human rights work.
