Quad City Bank & Trust (QCBT) is celebrating two major milestones this month — its 30th anniversary and its grand re-opening of the newly-renovated Brady Street branch.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 24th from 4-6pm in the 1st floor atrium of the branch at 4500 N. Brady Street, Davenport. Remarks and a ribbon cutting are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Light appetizers and refreshments will be served.
January 7th marked QCBT’s milestone 30th anniversary. The bank opened on Middle Road in Bettendorf on Jan. 7, 1994, with a large influx of accounts opened that day and hasn’t looked back since, according to a Thursday bank release.
Today, at $2.4 billion in assets and 158 employees, QCBT says it has the No. 1 spot in market share in the area. A strong supporter of the local community, QCBT has kept its promise of maintaining local roots and supporting those who live and work in the Quad Cities, the bank release said.
Employees are strongly encouraged to volunteer for causes about which they are passionate. QCBT staff volunteered over 7,500 hours in 2023 alone.
Coupled with their volunteerism, the bank also donated over $500,000 to 97 local organizations in 2023.
“Our community is what is most important to us. Without them and their support, we wouldn’t be here. I find great joy in watching our employees pursue their passions and support our community in so many ways each day,” said John Anderson, QCBT CEO.
In conjunction with the 30th anniversary celebration, QCBT is marking the grand re-opening of its 4500 N. Brady St. branch, which has been undergoing significant upgrades for the past three years. It has culminated with the completion of its state-of-the-art customer space on the main level.
“We are proud to keep our locations up to date with modern amenities to serve our customers’ needs and provide an uplifting and inspiring workspace for our employees,” said Laura “Divot” Ekizian, President and Chief Relationship Officer for QCBT.
