Report shares why Arsenal can sign future 'world star' Arda Guler for just £4m

Arsenal are scouting Turkish wonderkid Arda Guler and could reportedly snap up the Fenerbahce starlet for as little as £4 million during the summer transfer window.
So say Turkish Football, the publication claiming that Guler has been ‘monitored’ by the Gunners throughout the current campaign.
The 18-year-old playmaker – who was born nine months after Arsenal’s most recent Premier League title win – is valued by Fenerbahce in the region of £17 million.
Due to a clause in his contract, however, Guler could leave for a cut price fee of just £4 million. That is presuming he does not end up playing 1,500 minutes of first-team football across 2022/23. It currently seems unlikely that Guler will hit that magic number. So far, he’s played just 628 for a Fener side adrift of Galatasaray at the top of the Super Lig.
You will not be surprised to learn, then, that Fenerbahce are desperate to scrub out that pesky release clause; talks between club and player over a potential new deal ongoing. Fener, Turkish Football add, are more than aware of Arsenal’s ‘growing interest’.

“A super goal and a super assist. Quality.”
That was what a certain Mesut Ozil said of Guler after his scored one and set up another during a 5-2 thrashing of Ajansspor 12 months ago.
“(Arda),” the former Arsenal ace added. “Will be a world star.”
Like Ozil, a World Cup winner with Germany and a one-time Real Madrid icon, Guler uses his velvet touch and his balletic balance to wreak havoc from his favoured attacking midfield position. He has three goals and two assists so far this term.
“Arda possesses a dribbling ability and close control that few can match,” Goal write of the teenager. “His eye for the spectacular marks him out as a special talent.
“As well as (Lionel) Messi, Arda has been likened to Mesut Ozil. The likes of Arsenal, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have all shown an interest.”
Paris Saint-Germain, FootMercato claim, held talks with Guler’s camp both last summer and in January.
