Tariq Teddy passed away on 19 November 2022 because of suffering from an illness. He died after 20 days of illness. He had a liver-related illness.

Tariq Teddy was hospitalized at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute some 8 days ago. 8 Days ago, he was kept in the intensive care unit. His brother said to Dawn,

“He is a bit stable now but is still in the ICU. He was earlier on a ventilator but doctors have removed the ventilator now.”

His wife files a case in court in 2015 leading to his arrest warrants. He registered a case against his ex-wife Asma for threatening him with death which was dismissed by the court by stating no such incident took place ever.

Tariq divorced his wife Asma Riaz. He had been depositing maintenance money for his daughter. But on 11 March 2017, he told that his ex-wife along with some men entered his house and threatened him with dire consequences.

He requested the court to register a case against the woman. But a family court issued non-bailable arrest warrants in 2020 for Tariq Teddy on charges of not paying the expenses of his daughter.

The court sent the authorities to arrest him and issued an arrest warrant for him on a plaint from his wife Asma. It was said that he didn’t pay them. Asma took the help to summon him for fulfilling his responsibility.

Sometimes, he followed the court orders but later he refused to pay for his daughters. The court called Tariq but he didn’t appear in court. Therefore The court issued an arrest warrant for him.

Tariq Teddy was suffering from liver disease. He underwent treatment for that. Physicians said that his liver stopped working and he was in a life-threatening condition resulting from long-term inflammation. On 19 November, he passed away.
