Former President Trump was projected to win the Alabama GOP primary, according to Decision Desk HQ, delivering him an expected win in a ruby-red state.
Trump was leading his main primary rival, Nikki Haley, 77-18 percent, according to polling averages from The Hill and Decision Desk HQ.
The former president is expected to glide to victory in the state in November. In 2020, he defeated President Biden there 62-37 percent.
