A poster alleging to feature the 2023 lineup for much-loved festival Coachella is circulating on Twitter – but there’s a dead giveaway it may be fake.
Coachella will return to the desert from April 14 to 16, and April 21 to 23. The only thing fans are waiting for is the highly anticipated lineup. Fans expected to see the performer list revealed on Tuesday (January 3), with tickets releasing next Friday (January 13). However, no further information has yet been announced.
Some social media users believe they’ve discovered a lineup leak but Coachella has yet to confirm its legitimacy. HITC reached out to Coachella for comment but, so far, no reply. Nevertheless, let’s explore who we think might perform this year and look at past fake announcements.

According to the leaked poster, if it’s real Justin Bieber is slated to be the headliner on the Friday nights (April 14 and 21), with Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny joined by K-pop stars Blackpink on the Saturdays.
If true, it would mark girl group Blackpink’s second appearance at the festival. We hope they might be joined by label-mates Big Bang, who were scheduled for Coachella 2020.
The obvious giveaway that the poster may be fan-made rather than official is the typo on the Sunday lineup. Australian music producer Alison Wonderland is incorrectly spelled as “Allison Wonderland” – we assume the official image would be thoroughly checked before publication. If not, there’s a proofreader in trouble somewhere!
So far, Frank Ocean is the only officially confirmed headliner. The Novacane singer was booked for the canceled 2020 festival and Coachella co-founder Paul Tollett told the Los Angeles Times the R&B visionary would definitely return in 2023.
Whatever the lineup turns out to be, tickets for the festival sold out when they were released on June 17, 2022. There is a waitlist, however, so check here for a chance to get tickets.
Fake Coachella 2023 poster circulated Reddit in May 2022
It wouldn’t be the first time false Coachella information has made the rounds on social media. In May 2022, even before tickets were released, a fake orange poster claimed Dua Lipa, Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean were the headline acts.
The wildest thing about this version is the double appearance by Glass Animals on the Friday dates – the creator was definitely a Glass Animals fan:
