Wé Ani, formerly known as Wé McDonald is an American singer, songwriter and musician. She is best known for participating in singing reality shows like The Voice 11 and American Idol 21. She finished as the second runner-up of The Voice 11 , receiving less votes than Billy Gilman and winner Sundance Head.

Who is Wé Ani?

At the age of four, Ani began singing and playing the piano, followed by taking up acting at six years old. Subsequently, she enrolled into the Harlem School of the Arts when she was 12. She became the youngest artist to win in the adult division of Apollo’s Amateur Night and appeared twice in first place and twice in second place.
