‘We’re going to learn a bit more’: Hawkeyes look to measure up against Indiana

No. 4 Iowa vs. No. 14 Indiana now has the feel of a big-time rivalry. In the last two games alone, we’ve seen a Caitlin Clark buzzer beater and a prime-time matchup so big it captured eyeballs in the same slot as an NFL playoff game.
But with the Big Ten tournament just more than two weeks away, it’s a chance for the Hawkeyes to see how they measure up with a team they might play again in short time.
Iowa associate head coach Jan Jensen was kind enough to offer me a few minutes of time on-camera after her scheduled Zoom availability.
“No matter what happens against Indiana, we’re going to really learn a little bit more,” Jensen said. “How far away are we from maybe capturing the Big Ten outright… the Big Ten tournament. It’s two heavyweights that are going to battle it out. We both have excellent home-court advantages. So it’s a fun game. It’s a big game. Is it any different? Yes. Because of what’s at stake.”
