Elliot Gindi is best known as the English voice actor of Genshin Impact’s Tighnari. Amid sexual harassment allegations, Elliot Gindi has recently apologized for his behavior.

Genshin Impact was released in 2020 and after two years, the video game has continued its successful reign with its dedicated fan base.

Although Chinese company miHoYo is behind the development, the game has proved to be a hit in the Japanese and United States markets also. Its US release was reportedly the largest launch of a role-playing game on mobile in history and Western players contributed to 20 percent of Genshin Impacts’ total revenue.

The voice actor is currently under the spotlight due to allegations of abusive behavior. He has since issued an apology on Twitter where he states that he is taking a break and will return when his “therapist says I should”.

Taking to Twitter, Gindi told his followers that he would be taking a break from his online presence to seek therapy. In the Tweet, he stated, “I understand what I did was wrong and inappropriate, and to the best of my ability tried to confess as much to those I contacted.”

He further went on to say that he didn’t “knowingly did anything with anyone underage That I did not respect someone’s pronoun changes. I was not “waiting” for someone 15 to turn 18. I flatly rejected them.”.

His final message before apparently stepping away from his social media to receive help was “I will not be reading the replies, I am logging out. Thank you for understanding.”
