Maluma is the reality star of Juan Luis Londoo Arias, a Colombian singer, songwriter, and actor. Maluma was raised with her older sister, Manuela. Early on, he developed a passion for football, which he played from the time he was a child through middle school, competing for the Atletico Nacional and Equidad Sports Club teams in the lower divisions.

Maluma, a Catholic, has acknowledged that he respects some parts of other religions. He claimed to be in a relationship with Croatian-Cuban model Natalia Barulich in an interview from January 2018.
