In a sensational development in Sushant Singh’s death case, a medical employee Roopkumar working at Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital has claimed that Sushant was murdered.

Roopkumar works as a mortuary servant at the Cooper Hospital, he told a news agency that he had noticed injury marks on Sushant’s body.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s Post-Mortem

Roopkumar told TV9, That the postmortem needed to be recorded but higher authorities were instructed to only click [pictures] of [Sushant’s] body. He also said that while performing the postmortem, he had informed authorities that the actor was murdered and that they should work as per the rules. However, Shah’s seniors said that they only needed to take pictures and hand over the body to the police.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment on 14 June 2020. Sushant’s family alleged foul play, while the investigation team termed it a “suicide.”

The case was initially probed by the Mumbai Police and later it was transferred to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Enforcement Directorate (ED), and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing and handling the case swung into action after following the claim of Roopkumar Shah. According to sources, the Central Bureau of Investigation may soon call Roopkumar, who called Sushant Singh Rajput’s death a murder, for questioning.
