But the new series of Father Brown has seen vital changes to the cast, leaving some of its loyal fans somewhat perplexed. In particular, 3 major stars have not come back for the new series of Father Brown and they are Emer Kenny, Sorcha Cusack, and Jack Deam, who played Bunty Windermere, Bridgette McCarthy, and Inspector Mallory respectively.

Emer Kenny Leave Father Brown:- The absence of Emer Kenny from series 10 of Father Brown has been observed by her fans. She had become an essential part of the famous show since joining in 2017, playing Bunty Windermere.

Her former co-star, John Burton recently made a statement to fans of the series via Twitter.

The actor John Burton explained that long-running series like Father Brown from time to time need to be “refreshed due to artists’ availability”. As a result, John said, there was some “escapee” from the new series, with some long-standing people of the cast “moving on to other projects”.

Among the new cast is Claudie Blakley, playing the new character Mrs. Devine. Ruby May Martinwood also joins as a series regular, as a guest appearance as Brenda Palmer in series 9.

Father Brown is aired on BBC1 on Fridays at 1.45 pm. There are 10 episodes in the new series, which streamed on 6 January 2023.
